Yaroslav Kuzminov, Rector of the Higher School of Economics, has been awarded the order ‘For Merit for the Fatherland’, 4th class, by the President of Russia.
Summer School on Cyber Law
From July 2nd – 7th 2012, an international summer school on cyber law took place in Moscow region. The event was organized by the HSE Research and Educational Laboratory on Information Law. The laureates of the Best Article Award from the Collective Behavior and Social Movements section of the American Sociological Association have been announced in Washington, DC. One of the papers recognised is a publication by Benjamin Lind, HSE Faculty of Sociology associate professor.

Medvedev Rewards Strategy 2020 Experts

On February 22nd Russian President Dmitry Medvedev awarded President of the Higher School of Economics, Alexander Shokhin the order ‘For Merit to the Fatherland’, 3rd class.

On December 1st an inauguration ceremony for Alexander Rahr, a prominent expert in Russian-German relations, as Honorary Professor of the HSE took place at the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.
