From May 18 to 22, HSE University–St Petersburg became the centre for global academic dialogue. This was the third time the city hosted International Partners' Week, a strategic event of HSE University. The event brought together more than 100 delegates from 45 universities and 20 countries. HSE University–St Petersburg and Shanghai Dragons to Launch Internship Programmes and Courses for Foreigners
HSE University–St Petersburg and the Shanghai Dragons hockey club have signed a cooperation agreement. HSE University–St Petersburg students will be able to undertake internships at various units of the team, conduct sports research, and supplement their portfolios with international projects.

HSE MIEM and AlphaCHIP Innovation Centre Sign Cooperation Agreement
The key objectives of the partnership include joint projects in microelectronics and the involvement of company specialists in supervising the research activities of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Plans also focus on the preparation of joint academic publications, the organisation of industrial placements and student internships, and professional development programmes for the company’s specialists.

HSE University and InfoWatch Group Sign Cooperation Agreement
HSE University and the InfoWatch Group of Companies marked the start of a new stage in their collaboration with the signing of a new agreement. The partnership aims to develop educational programmes and strengthen the practical training of specialists for the digital economy. The parties will cooperate in developing and reviewing curricula, and experts from InfoWatch will be involved in teaching and mentoring IT and information security specialists at HSE University.

HSE Students to Complete Management Internship at EFKO
EFKO, a Russian food manufacturer and one of the country’s largest agro-industrial holdings, has launched the Assistants programme in partnership with HSE University. This practice-oriented module gives selected HSE students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of management directly from EFKO’s Chairman of the Board and Innovation Director.

HSE University and Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan Sign Memorandum on Scientific Cooperation
The partnership aims to foster academic collaboration in the fields of global economics, sustainable development, and Islamic finance. Strengthening academic ties with Uzbekistan represents a promising direction for scientific exchanges and the implementation of international projects in sustainable development.

HSE University–St Petersburg to Create Joint Continuing Education Programmes with Indian Business School
A delegation from the Institute for Continuing Professional Education at HSE University–St Petersburg discussed new cooperation formats with the Indian Institute of Management Indore (India). The partnership opens up new opportunities for HSE University–St Petersburg to create interdisciplinary programmes with strong practical elements and immersion in the business cultures of the Asian region.

HSE University–St Petersburg and Vietnamese National Economics University Define Cooperation Priorities
The HSE University–St Petersburg Rope Shop Building has hosted a meeting with a delegation from the National Economics University of Vietnam. The parties discussed opportunities to create mirror laboratories and expand exchange programmes.
HSE and Sber Team Up to Train Specialists for Russian and Indian Markets
On September 5, 2025, at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), HSE University and Sber signed an agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation in economic, financial, and business education between Russia and India, as well as developing continuing education initiatives in both countries (including the implementation of joint, network, and exchange programmes). The agreement was signed by HSE Vice Rector Tatyana Vasilyeva and Sberbank’s First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Alexander Vedyakhin.
