XXIII Yasin International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development Begins
From April 5–22, 2002, the XXIII Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development will be held in Moscow. Its participants include leading scientists and experts, representatives from the business community, politicians and leaders of state bodies. Over 700 papers will be presented at the Conference and discussed in almost 150 sessions and 24 sections.
HSE University has held its traditional April Conference since 2000. This year’s event will be held under a new name, but with the same format. The Conference has been renamed in honour of Evgeny Yasin, the Honorary Academic Supervisor of HSE University who originated the Conference and under whose guidance it has developed and achieved wide recognition.
HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov is the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Conference, and HSE University Academic Supervisor Yaroslav Kuzminov is the Chairman of the Programme Committee.
This year’s Conference will be held in a hybrid format, with some discussions held online and others taking place in person.
HSE University’s venues will host plenary sessions, symposiums, round tables with presentations of research papers, and expert discussions of topical issues in economic and social policy. There will also be special and associated events and the presentation of around 20 papers from HSE University.
Conference topics cover a range of fields, including sustainable development, green economy and ESG, state and local self-governance, non-profits, demography and labour markets, macroeconomics and economic growth, management, science and innovation, education, healthcare development, regional and urban development, social policy, sociology, financial institutions, markets and payment systems, firms and markets, and more.

XXVI April International Academic Conference Kicks Off at HSE University
The conference programme covers five research topics: economics; human capital and society; instrumental methods and models; foresight research; and international research. Hundreds of scientists from around the world will take part in the conference.
Applications for Participation in XXVI April International Academic Conference Still Open
Applications can be submitted on the conference website until December 16, 2025. The programme has been developed around five research themes: Economics, Human Capital and Society, Instrumental Methods and Models, Foresight Research, and International Research. The heads of these areas have presented, in video format, the priority topics and sections for which they are expecting submissions.

24 Countries Represented at 25th Yasin International Academic Conference Held by HSE University
The Programme Committee of the 25th Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development has summed up the initial results. In 2025, 1,384 people from 24 countries and 29 Russian regions participated in the conference, with 335 of them delivering presentations.
